Student Uniform Policy

Please review the Student Uniform Policy very carefully. The first two weeks of school will be a probationary period - the staff will work with your kids to make sure that everyone is in compliance and no uniform infractions will be given out.

When to Buy?

Really, anytime! You can visit Dennis anytime this summer. They know our policy inside and out and should be able to answer your questions.

Our own AA PTO hosts at least one used uniform sale in the summer at American Academy. This is a great place to find some bargains! For more dates, information, or to learn how to donate or sell your used items please visit the PTO website.

Student Uniform Vendor

The American Academy Student Uniform is provided by Dennis Uniform, a local uniform vendor that is located in Lone Tree. The Student Uniform consists of items in navy, red, white, and Marymount Plaid. American Academy is currently the only school in Colorado using the Marymount Plaid.

Dennis Uniform has a sampling of uniform recommendations for each grade level in order to illustrate purchase pricing. The items shown in their samples are what Dennis, in their experience, believes to be a functional uniform selection for American Academy. There are lots of possible combinations based on the approved items, and individual preferences of both students and parents will determine the bottom line for each family.

Three Easy Steps to Ordering Your Uniform Online

1) Go to the Dennis Uniform website for AA.

2) Review the American Academy uniform selections.

3) Input your selections in the online order form and process your order. To make your purchases in person and avoid shipping charges, please stop by the Dennis Uniform store!

4) If you have questions about, or need help with, your order, email Dennis Uniform anytime of day (or night)!

What About SHOES?

Need help finding the "right" shoes here in town or online? Just email the PAB a picture and they will let you know it the shoes comply. Thanks!

Student Uniform Hoodie Personalization (New in 2012!)

If you'd like to have your student's uniform hoodie personalized, that option is now available at the Dennis Uniform store (not available online). Personalization style and location on the hoodie is limited to last names only in the style approved by the Board of Directors, and may only be implemented by Dennis Uniform (outside personalization vendors are not allowed). Currently, this service is only available at the store location in Park Meadows.
